AMP 2026 Presenter Information

Information for Talks

  • Talks will be held in ESJ 0224, 1224, and 2224. See venue page for more info about the venue.
  • Talks are 20 minutes long followed by a 10-minute Q&A.
  • Presenters using printed handouts should bring their own. Presenters are recommended to make adequate preparations before coming to campus. We are estimating about 100 attendees at the conference in total. Only one session will be held at a time.
  • Presenters using slides should bring their own laptop. Please bring your own HDMI/VGA adapters.
  • Upload your handouts/slides to the AMP2026 Google Drive folder, which will be sent to presenters and conference attendees before the conference. Details will be emailed to presenters.

Information for Poster Presentations

  • We will provide easels and poster boards for poster presentations.
  • The boards are 48"x72" and can be oriented horizontally (most stable) or vertically. We recommend printing posters at a standard 36"x48" size.
  • Friday's poster session (A) will be held on the ground floor. Saturday (B) and Sunday (C) will be on the second floor.
  • Upload your poster to the AMP2026 Google Drive folder, which will be sent to presenters and conference attendees before the conference. Details will be emailed to presenters.

Proceedings

Authors of all presentations are invited to submit papers to the AMP 2026 proceedings.

Deadline: TBA.

Style sheet: Templates for the proceedings are available for Word and LaTeX.

Formatting:

  • The upper page limit for proceedings papers based on oral presentations and posters is 12 single-spaced pages. The upper page limit for proceedings papers submitted by invited speakers is 15 single-spaced pages. There is no minimum paper length. Bibliographies, images, diagrams, tables, and examples all count towards page limits.
  • Submissions need to be in pdf format.
  • Submissions will not be copy-edited, so authors should proofread their work carefully before submitting.
  • When you submit, please include a 100-200 word abstract.

Submission procedure:

Papers will be submitted directly to the AMP proceedings (https://openpublishing.library.umass.edu/amphonology/). Submission open date TBA.
